Interlock
Interlock is a double-knit construction where two rib structures are interlocked, creating a fabric that is smooth on both sides. It is heavier than Single Jersey and has very little edge curl, making it easier to handle in production. Interlock is commonly used for structured baby garments where a slightly thicker hand feel is preferred. We source this construction from partner knitting mills and can coordinate the required weight, composition and finish.
Partner Mill Coordination Process
Varahi Enterprises coordinates the knitting or weaving of Interlock through dedicated mills located in the Salem and Erode textile corridors. Before bulk lot production, we submit lap dips for shade approval and knit down trial swatches to verify hand feel, shrink performance, and weight tolerance against your babywear requirements.
Request Interlock
We supply physical swatches, discuss yarn counts, or prepare a formal quotation based on your target garment quantity and timeline.
