VarahiEnterprises
Operating Architecture

A structured, transparent coordination route from spec to dispatch.

We operate as your dedicated textile procurement and quality office on the ground in Tamil Nadu. Here is exactly how an order moves through our partner network, and who does what at every stage.

The Three-Party Partnership Model

The Garment Manufacturer

Defines technical specifications, sets testing thresholds, approves lab dips, and integrates fabric delivery into garment production lines.

Varahi Enterprises

Evaluates feasibility, selects the ideal partner mill, supervises quality at each stage, arranges laboratory testing, and handles export logistics.

Specialized Partner Mills

Execute knitting, weaving, dyeing, and finishing on calibrated industrial machinery according to our approved production technical sheet.

Detailed Stage-by-Stage Breakdown

Standard lead time averages 35 to 45 days from lab dip sign-off to export dispatch, confirmed per program.

01

Buyer Requirement & Specification Review

Indicative Timing: Days 1–3

We receive your technical fabric pack, reference swatch cut, or target specification. Our merchandising team in Salem reviews yarn counts, knit gauges, finish requirements, and target quantities.

Buyer Responsibility

Supplies target GSM, fiber composition, color references (Pantone/swatch), and required test parameters.

Varahi Coordination

Assesses technical feasibility, evaluates shrinkage tolerances, and identifies compatible partner mills.

Partner Mill Execution

Reviews machinery capability and yarn availability for the program.

02

Mill Allocation & Sampling Approval

Indicative Timing: Days 4–12

The program is placed with the appropriate specialized knitting or weaving partner. Lab dips for color matching and initial trial swatches are prepared and sent for your technical sign-off.

Buyer Responsibility

Reviews lab dips under required light sources (D65/TL84) and approves shade and hand feel.

Varahi Coordination

Directs dye corrections, evaluates strike-offs, and ensures color consistency across substrate batches.

Partner Mill Execution

Executes yarn dye or piece dye recipe formulations in accredited dye kitchens.

03

Yarn Procurement & Greige Production

Indicative Timing: Days 13–24

Combed or organic cotton yarn is procured from spinning mills. Circular knitting or shuttleless weaving proceeds under controlled tension to maintain uniform loop formation and weight stability.

Buyer Responsibility

Maintains production booking slot in garment sewing schedule.

Varahi Coordination

Inspects greige fabric rolls for knit faults (barre, holes, uneven yarn) before wet processing.

Partner Mill Execution

Operates circular knitting machines or high-speed looms according to agreed machine setup sheets.

04

Batch Dyeing & Mechanical Finishing

Indicative Timing: Days 25–34

Fabric undergoes soft-flow scouring, eco-friendly dyeing, hydro-extraction, and specialized finishing treatments (e.g., bio-wash, enzyme soft-wash, stenter heat-setting, and compacting).

Buyer Responsibility

Receives bulk dye lot sample cut for final shade confirmation.

Varahi Coordination

Monitors lot-to-lot color continuity and ensures non-formaldehyde softeners and pH balancers are utilized.

Partner Mill Execution

Processes fabric through certified stenters and tubular/open-width compactors.

05

Quality Inspection & Testing Coordination

Indicative Timing: Days 35–40

100% of rolls are inspected on four-point inspection tables for surface flaws, roll length, and edge-to-edge weight. Samples from finished rolls are submitted for buyer-requested laboratory testing.

Buyer Responsibility

Reviews independent testing reports against brand chemical and physical manual.

Varahi Coordination

Conducts internal 4-point inspection, reviews lab report parameters, and compiles packing lists.

Partner Mill Execution

Rolls, poly-wraps, and labels finished fabric with roll weights and shade-band numbering.

06

Packing & Export Dispatch Coordination

Indicative Timing: Days 41–45

Finished goods are packed in moisture-resistant export wrapping, loaded into dedicated containers, and handed over to your freight forwarder for maritime or air transit to Colombo or regional ports.

Buyer Responsibility

Instructs customs clearance broker and factory warehouse receiving team.

Varahi Coordination

Coordinates export documentation, bill of lading / airway bill drafts, and certificate of origin.

Partner Mill Execution

Loads container at mill dispatch bay under supervised inspection.
