Muslin

Muslin is a plain-weave fabric with a relatively open construction, giving it excellent breathability and a soft drape. It becomes softer with each wash and develops a characteristic crinkled texture. Muslin is one of the most commonly specified fabrics in baby product ranges, used for swaddles, blankets, cloths and lightweight garments. We source muslin through partner weaving and processing mills.

Partner Mill Coordination Process

Varahi Enterprises coordinates the knitting or weaving of Muslin through dedicated mills located in the Salem and Erode textile corridors. Before bulk lot production, we submit lap dips for shade approval and knit down trial swatches to verify hand feel, shrink performance, and weight tolerance against your babywear requirements.
