Pique

Pique knit has a raised, textured surface created by a combination of knit and tuck stitches. It is a structured fabric with good air circulation, often associated with polo shirts. For baby and toddler garments, Pique is used where a more textured, slightly formal look is required. Available in various weights through our partner mills.

Varahi Enterprises coordinates the knitting or weaving of Pique through dedicated mills located in the Salem and Erode textile corridors. Before bulk lot production, we submit lap dips for shade approval and knit down trial swatches to verify hand feel, shrink performance, and weight tolerance against your babywear requirements.
