Poplin

Poplin is a tightly woven plain-weave fabric characterised by its smooth surface and slight sheen. It has a crisp hand feel and holds structure well, making it suitable for shirts, dresses and structured garments in baby and toddler ranges. It takes print and dye well. We source poplin from partner weaving mills and can coordinate finishing and quality requirements.

Partner Mill Coordination Process

Varahi Enterprises coordinates the knitting or weaving of Poplin through dedicated mills located in the Salem and Erode textile corridors. Before bulk lot production, we submit lap dips for shade approval and knit down trial swatches to verify hand feel, shrink performance, and weight tolerance against your babywear requirements.
